The Inventor is here

How hard is it to make an animated feature film? A short film about Leonardo DaVinci that you have expanded into a feature. You have a successful Kickstarter campaign and a cast of well known actors, Stephen Fry, Daisy Ridley, Marion Cotillard, Gauthlier Barttoue and Matt Berry to do the voices.

Now add making an animated feature film during Covid, outside the US and when you finish the film, your voice actors can't promote it due to the current Actor/Writer strike that is going on.

Below is an interview with Jim Capobianco just before the Kickstarter campaign began.

A trailer came out in August promoting the release date as August 23, which was actually pushed back to September 15th. Unfortunately, new release date trailers were not available to send out to movie theatres nationwide.

Here's a trailer which was created to show investors what the animation would look like.

I recently contacted Capobianco to find out what happened during the making of the film and where we can see the film and when. BTW Bluefox Entertainment has this link to let you know where the film is playing near you. https://www.bluefoxentertainment.com/films/the-inventor

Here is the latest interview with Jim Capocianco promoting "The Inventor" and hoping audience support this independent animated feature film...which premieres Friday, September 15th!

Jim Richardson, Photographer

You've done this. You're bored and so you Google to see who else in the world shares your name. Sometimes the result might surprise you.

Recently, I was bored and I did the same thing. Years ago, I knew of Jim Richardson, a photographer who worked for National Geographic and recently, I decided to see if I could interview him on Animateducated.

Now, you may be a purist and say, but Jim, what does a photographer have to do with animation? And you could be right, but we do have a lot in common besides sharing the same honorable name. Jim wears glasses, has a beard and is a photographer. I too, but my photography interest as a High School Yearbook photographer mutated into drawing animation, see example below.

I was thrilled when he agreed to be interviewed on my Youtube channel called Animateducated and talk about his work.

Enjoy the interview below as it begins on Friday, March 12th @ 7pm

Please enjoy these Jim Richardson (the photographer) images and return with friends to click on the ads to feed our blog's tip jar and listen to some interesting stories behind these photographs shown here!
