The SnowdenFine Interview

Allison Snowden and David Fine grew up in different parts of the world before they met at Great Britain's National Film & Television School as live action filmmakers. In their final year, Allison animated "Second Class Mail" in 1984 and David helped with the animation and created the soundtrack. The film also had help with cel coloring by fellow students, Nick Park and Mark Baker. 


Their student film lead to "In and Out", which was produced by the National Film Board of Canada.

George and Rosemary was also produced in Canada and follows the romance of an old couple. View the film here.

Bob's Birthday won an Oscar for the Best Short Animation in 1994.

The characters from this film inspired the adult animated television series, "Bob and Margaret" which ran from 1998 to 2001.

25 years have past with other ventures into TV commercials and other series like, Nickelodeon's "Ricky Sprocket, Showbiz Boy". The couple has completed their new short film, "Animal Behavior", which is already in the running for this year's Oscars.
